MJA specializes in Napa Valley Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc and Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir.

Marin Artukovich got his start in the Kona coffee business in 1990 and after 16 years in the business decided to move to Napa Valley to focus on wine.  He bought an estate on the side of Howell Mountain and spent 2 years renovating it.

It wasn't long before the ocean called and the new MJA Tasting Room was opened in March 2010 with local Cathy Bentley, who also has a background in coffee, marketing and small business management.  Soon they recruited local winemaker, Mikael Wargin, to join their team.  Their shared love of wine makes it a great place to learn more about the appellation.  They will be planting Pinot Noir on the vineyard property in the Santa Cruz Mountains in the Spring of 2011 and opening the 2nd tasting room.

Sometimes you'll find all 3 of them in the winery, talking about coffee and wine.  Always laughing and having fun, it's a great place to hang out – either inside at the bar or outside on the patio. And if the famous Santa Cruz Mountain fog rolls in, just ask for a fuzzy, warm blanket and they’ll turn on the patio heaters for you.

Tasting Room is open daily 12-6.  Call for information on special events or their Wine Cellar Cinema (movie night in the warehouse).
